Troupis Winery from Mantineia managed and created again a wine with an inconceivable value for money ratio, Fteri rosé, which masterfully combines the two most important varieties of the Peloponnese.
We think you already know that Moschofilero is a reddish variety. It may be used to make white wines, but it is also capable of giving extremely perfumed rosé wines, especially if it is blended with Agiorgitiko. For Fteri Rose the blend consists of Agiorgitiko (75%) and Moschofilero (25%) which are cultivated at an altitude of 640 meters. Maceration for a few hours with the skins gives this characteristic pale pink color and elegant aromas of rose, strawberry and white cherry.
If you were looking for the perfect summer rosé, you just found it!
Fteri Rose Troupis Winery has light pink color and elegant aromas of Turkish delight, rose, strawberry, white cherry, lemon, peach and citron.
In the mouth it has medium (-) body and moderate acidity. Juicy red fruits are mixed with notes of Turkish delight and icing sugar in a delicate set.
