It is elegant yet densely concentrated, like many great wines, expressing harmonious layers of dark fruit, earthy spice and minerals. This wine is European-styled as a homage to former winemaker John Hancock's Northern Rhone mentor, Gerard Jaboulet, who donated the clones of Syrah (and a little Viognier) that make up this classic Cote Rotie style.
