The supercool squat heritage bottles just add to the pizzaz that this special wine brings to the table and this is generous and opulently framed Californian Cabernet with a softness and roundness on the palate we have seldom seen from this varietal. Flavours of blackberry and dark plum flood the palate while some cedar undertones and tobacco / leather notes add complexity.  It is rich, mouthfilling and pillow soft but comes with enough fresh acidity on the finish to keep the wine alive on the palate
