Barrel American Oak Ex-Bourbon, French Oak Ex-Red Wine
This beautiful single malt whisky has been maturing in American ex-bourbon casks before soaking up luscious flavours from Central-Otago Pinot Noir barrels. While quietly ageing in our seaside bond store in Oamaru, Dunedin DoubleCask has gained a golden auburn colour and aromas of beeswax and fresh cereal, toasted oak and soft spices with a delicious, long fruity finish. An elegant single malt with depth and characters that make this whisky a truly enjoyable experience.

NoseĀ Rich grain, fresh cereals, oak and cedar, potpourri and roses, cherry, cinnamon, cardamon and bay leaf followed by fresh tobacco.
PalateĀ Spicy front with rich, malted barley and fresh cereals, dominated by sherry flor and cherry.
FinishĀ Long, drawn out woody but soft finish with rich, red fruit and spices.
