TARTANA is a Tempranillo made from some of the first vineyards planted using the trellis system in Castilla y Leon some 30 years ago. These vines yield complex fruit with soft, luscious tannins and signature notes of violets. Produce tiny grapes of exquisite quality which contribute concentrated fruit flavors and deep, rich color to the wine.
Machine harvested using unique technology which transport the winery to the vineyard during harvest to ensure 100% of the fruit character is preserved. Crushed and de-stemmed in the vineyard. Stainless steel fermentation at around 26ºC. 7 days maceration before being aged 4 months in 50% French Oak and 50% American Oak.
Bright cherry in colour. On the nose, lively red berry fruits with slight hint of spice. On the palate soft, medium bodied with good acidity and soft, rounded tannins.
