Exceptional hand-picked grapes from a coastal Chardonnay block. After gentle pressing, the free run juice is poured into barrel without clarification. The juice underwent fermentation with itsown naturally occurring wild yeast. Regular lees stirring occurred during the Winter months before undergoing malolactic fermentation in Spring. The wine spent 12 months in French oak with minimal intervention and filtration. A bold & complex nose displays notes of pineapple, lemon curd and nutty oak. Full-bodied and concentrated on the palate, the wine is balanced with notes of, ripe white peach, roasted nuts, rock melon with minerality and a refreshing lingering finish.
