Taittinger Prelude is made from grand cru grown grapes and is an equal blend of 50/50 Chardonnay and Pinot Noir, aged on tirage (on lees in bottle) for an impressive five years. This is nearly twice the amount of time for vintage champagnes, which must be aged on tirage for at least three years, prior to release. This is a dry, full bodied champagne with depth of savoury, yeasty flavours and a long, fresh finish.
