The name Paritua is a tribute to the Paritua Stream, which meanders gently through the vineyard. The vineyard is planted over the historical riverbed of the nearby Ngaruroro River which flowed through pre the 1860s earthquake.

On the nose the 2018 has ripe blueberry, black cherry and violets with a hint of spice
and clove. On the palate fresh plum and spice with a slight cola bean character. The
freshness and weight is well supported by the tannins.
