Séptima Tierra Agrelo is part of the Séptima Tierra line, with which we seek to express the DNA of the terroir with the imprint and style of Bodega Séptima.
Séptima Tierra wines are genuine and unique, clearly expressing their place of origin and the character of the region in which they are born. In this vein, the winery's quest is geared toward exploiting the virtues of the microterroirs.
Séptima Tierra is a line of four Malbecs that showcase the unique qualities of specific geographical areas. We selected three Inca wines from Argentina's most prestigious terroirs: Agrelo , Los Chacayes, and Gualtallary.
The selection of three different microzones based on altitude, soil composition, temperature, fermentation of the wines with native yeasts, and aging of each wine, whether in oak or stainless steel.
At Séptima Tierra, we seek to capture the landscape in each bottle.
What is terroir? It's what essentially defines a wine.
It is the interaction between the soil, the climate, the geographical location, the grape variety, and the cultural work of men and women in a given place.
Terroir wines have the value of reflecting the place where their grapes are grown, and that characteristic is what makes them unique.
For years, we've been studying different plots on different estates to create wines with unique identities. The identity of each wine is its most special and distinctive attribute.
