Vintage Summary

Exceptionally early/warm flowering created momentum for an earlier harvest and resulted in good yields, much healthier than 2024 cropping levels. Boxing Day was a turning point for summer with temperatures tailing away and extended cloudy and cooler conditions taking hold. This change did not ultimately push the harvest back, but was most likely responsible for ensuring fruit retained excellent acidity levels through to harvest. Sporadic rain ensured healthy vine canopies but thankfully did not lead to significant disease presence; this could also be attributed to what was an incredibly clean season the year prior.
 Dry and settled conditions lasted right through March, ultimately ensuring a highly successful harvest of all varietals including whites, Rosé styles and ripe, full‑bodied reds.

Winemaker Notes

This wine showcases beautiful pale pink hues from the bottle and the glass. Delicate aromas of chamomile flowers and strawberry vie for attention on the nose, leading to a medium‑bodied palate that finishes refreshingly balanced. The perfect wine for alfresco dining!

Vinification

Immediately pressed from the skins on arrival at the winery, the resulting juice was settled and clarified in stainless steel tanks. Only once completely bright, the clear juice was then racked to fermentation with aromatic yeast strains at 14°C. Once complete, the individual parcels were carefully assessed and blended by the winemakers prior to stabilisation and filtration for bottling
