This limited release wine is nearly identical to the Southern Tor 2022, winner of the 'World's Best Pinot Noir.' However, due to the use of experimental barrels for this small batch, it cannot carry the Southern Tor label.

We are ardent admirers of the stunning Pinot Noirs crafted by Matt Connell, one of New Zealand's finest winemakers. Since Matt joined McArthur Ridge for the 2020 vintage, these wines have become the most awarded Pinot Noirs in the country. The 2022 vintage in Alexandra was their best yet.
