The second wine from Matchbook Dunnigan Hills to find its way down to us in the deep south, and it's perfect timing for winter. It's like a big warm cuddle of dark fruit and rich spices. Comprised of 77% Petite Sirah, 17% Syrah and 6% Tannat and aged for 16 months in French, Hungarian and American oak, it has intense and hearty flavour. Blackberries and plums swish this way and that, mingling with cinnamon and vanilla. A big round wine with firm, velvety tannins and juicy acidity to lift it right through the palate. Drink now through to 2023 with a juicy BBQ rump steak or hearty winter stew... or just drink it.
