This wine is made with a blend of Negroamaro and Malvasia Nera grapes that will have been harvested in late September and selected with the utmost care.
After malolactic fermentation, the wine ages in oak barrels for about 12 months and another 6 months in bottle before being released on the market.
Medium to full-bodied, it is soft and balanced with dark red fruit flavours complexed with spicy nuances. The tannins are ripe and integrated. A lovely example of robust Italian wine with plenty of power and underlying grace.
