In the latest of their ex-wine cask matured expressions, this new release from Kilchoman was fully matured in Sauternes wine barriques. This sweet and sticky wine made in Bordeaux brings out a fragrant and tropical nose of char grilled pineapple, with a warming, spicy note of candied ginger. The peated barley of Kilchoman brings a rush of peat smoke that compliments the lush, silky-sweet flavours from the wood.
