Inchgower is a single malt we don't see bottled often, their spicy and nutty new make spirit is a core component for many big blends, stealing this characterful dram away from us! Thankfully Cadenhead have bottled this Inchgower from a combination of casks, comprised of 60% bourbon barrels, 20% sherry and 20% madeira casks. The nose opens with fragrant honey, nutmeg dusted over ripe bananas, figs and black tea leaves. Soft tannins dance on the tongue, spicy crystalized ginger and nutty milk chocolate, the finish brings zesty tang and soft fruits.
