The GlenAllachie distillery, named in Gaelic for the 'valley of the rocks', has launched an entirely new lineup of whiskies under the ownership of Billy Walker, Master Blender. After 18 years of maturation, the aroma remains fresh and scented - fresh vanilla pods, toffee and butterscotch swirl with oak spice and fruity notes. The palate is a balance of fruit (raisins), marzipan and heathered honey flavours, joining dark cherries, spices and a hint of dark chocolate coming from sherry casks.
