The Clynelish 14 year old is a Scottish single malt whisky from the Highland distillery of Clynelish. Built in the late 1960s Clynelish is a relatively young distillery and this 14 year old Scotch is its main current offering. Well reviewed, this whiskey is building a following and is well worth trying out. 

Tasting Notes: Nose: Good firm aromatics. Fennel. Liquorice. 

Palate: Malty, Sweetish, especially with water. Seville orange peels. 

Finish: Fruity-spicy. Chilli-like. Explosion of spicy flavours. Hot peppermints. Pepper.
