This example is an elegant, floral wine, with plum, spice & berry flavours supported by strong oak & fine tannins.
The wine was fermented in open top vats with regular hand plunging. After completion of the ferment the wine was given extended maceration on skins of up to four weeks to extract all the complex flavours & ripe tannins. After pressing the wine was matured in oak barriques prior to bottling.
