Château La Tour Blanche’s storied history begins with Monsieur de Saint-Marc, the 17th-century Lord of La Tour Blanche, who transformed a modest estate into a grand château. Later, German-born Frederick Focke revolutionized the estate and Sauternes as a whole by introducing “late harvesting,” a technique that amplified the richness and complexity of the region’s sweet wines. His efforts helped secure Château La Tour Blanche’s place as a Premier Grand Cru in the 1855 Bordeaux Classification.

Today, the estate maintains this legacy, using only the finest botrytised grapes for their Grand Vin. With careful selection and precise winemaking, Château La Tour Blanche produces wines of remarkable sweetness, balance, and finesse.
