This ch?teau has been with the Vialard family since 1895 and was enlarged in 1899 with the purchase of Ch?teau Abiet.
The plants are predominantly Cabernet Sauvignon with 74%, along with 20% Merlot, 4% Petit Verdot and 1% Malbec. Located in the northern reaches of Haut-M?doc, this 50 hectare property is just outside of the great terroirs of Pauillac and St-Est?phe.
A classic claret, this has good textures and layers, very approachable in its youth. Blueberry and plums on the fleshy palate, there is a good acid balance. The higher percentage of Petit Verdot brings spice and another dimensions to this fresh and elegant wine
