Amadio Pirovano opened the tavern “Da Pirovano” in the mid-800s, selling wine bought mainly from small farmers in southern Italy, especially in Puglia. Today, the fourth generation, with commitment and dedication, continues the growth and development of the family business.
This Primitivo pours a very intense red.
The nose is typical of the style, rich jammy dark fruit, plum, cocoa and leather. Great structure and concentration; it’s soft, silky with spicy undertones, pleasant tannins and long finish.
Delicious next to rich dishes, grilled meat, wintery beef stew, and hard cheeses.
