2019 was another ideal season to make a 'Sun-Dried' Malbec. 'Sun-Dried' wines have been made since the 5th century BC - 'Amarone' wines from northern Italy being the most famous.
Intensely dark, this ‘Sun-Dried’ Malbec shouts dark ripe plum, dried, herbs, spice, cigar box, and earthy tannins all perfectly supported by the oak. This wine has an enticing mouthfeel due to the weight and fullness on the mid palate. The 2018 vintage follows its illustrious predecessors with aplomb. Once again Malbec on steroids comes to mind. This wine is generous in all departments, the 2019 ‘Sun-Dried’ Malbec will compliment most red meats.
