Antigua Bodega Stagnari are actually one of the oldest wineries in all of Uruguay whom have had vineyards since the mid 1920s. It hasn't changed hands from the family Stagnari who set it up all those years ago and they are producing, now, some of the most exciting wines across the country, or arguably across south America.

A lovely and fruit forward Tannat from its new home of Uruguay. It is ripe and rich on the nose with a whole range of black fruit flavours, think plums, currants and prunes. It has a real intensity on the palate too with a firm but quite soft tannins. It has a nice long finish too with a range of sweet vanilla notes, from the American oak, and spicy notes, too.
