Brewed for the legendary New Zealand IPA Challenge at Smiths Bar in Queenstown, this one is a tribute to Aotearoa’s finest hops - bold, expressive, and unapologetically Kiwi.
Our June release is a New Zealand IPA that bursts with vibrancy. At 6.7%, it strikes the sweet spot - big enough to demand attention, smooth enough to keep you coming back. We’ve gone all-in on the country’s iconic hop quartet: Nelson Sauvin, Riwaka, Motueka and Nectaron.
On the nose, expect a wild bouquet of crushed gooseberry, white grape, and tropical citrus zest. The first sip delivers layers of passionfruit, lime, and stonefruit, grounded by subtle herbal notes and a solid bitterness that lingers just long enough. The mouthfeel is plush yet crisp - fermented clean to let the hops shine, with a lean malt base that stays out of the way.
This is a beer made for hopheads from a hophead. Whether you’re at Smiths Bar for the challenge or cracking a can with mates, this IPA is a celebration of everything that makes NZ hops world-class.
