The story of Riesling in Australia is as old as the wine industry itself. The famed Florita Vineyard is synonymous with the classic grape variety and was established by Leo Buring in 1962. In 1986, our family purchased the 80 acre property and began to write the next chapter in the famous vineyard's history. Grapes have been selected from individual rows within the vineyard to create a micro-batch Riesling.
Explosive florals, fresh lime, and citrus combine with a hint of rockmelon and wet limestone on the nose. The entry is driven by the nose, with a heap of fruit weight. Chalky in texture with white floral, citrus flavours, and a juicy finish.
