Matured for 10 years in an ex-Oloroso sherry butt, this Ardnamurchan is a beautiful balance between sweetness and umami savouryness. The aroma opens with notes of brown butter, honey roasted peanuts and candied apples, before moving to a richness of dark chocolate Bounty bar (toasted coconut) and peanut brittle. Fruity with strawberries and cream, dried apricot and clover honey, there is more salted nuts found in the finish - a classic Ardnamurchan.
