Lambrusco comes from the central Italian region of Emilia-Romagna and is one of Italy's most commercially successful and least understood wines.
Lambrusco is the name of the grape as well as the wine made from it and this one is deep ruby in colour with fresh, dark fruity flavours and a medium body.
This is a dry wine, made to be served lightly chilled, preferably with cheese or pasta. Its fresh acidity works a treat with great pasta and olive oil.
