Ripe, savoury yellow stonefruits on the nose, citrus fruits and mealy elements, along with subtle nutty, leesy notes, the oaking discrete and balanced. Medium-bodied, the palate has a core of savoury yellow stonefruits with a layering of citrus fruit, and mealy and nutty elements. The mouthfeel is fresh and crisp with lacy acidity, and the wine flows along a soft, textural line with good depth leading to a gently full and lingering finish of stonefruits and nuts. A savoury yellow Chardonnay with good depth and presence and a fresh, underlying mouthfeel. Aged 11 months on lees in seasoned French oak barriques.
