Church Road 1 is a story of provenance and our single vineyard offering showcasing the unique character of our very best vineyards from the best sub-regions in Hawke?s Bay including the famed Redstone, Tuki Tuki and Gimblett Gravels sites. Our winemakers take a back seat and allow the land to stamp its mark on the wine so it reveals a true expression of place in every glass, every time.

Full of opulent dark berry fruit, with a brooding, warm earthiness, this is an incredibly fragrant Cabernet Sauvignon with aromas of violet and rose, cedar, vanilla, graphite and smoke. Layered and complex with a supple mid palate and powerful, fine grained tannin driving exceptional length.
With careful cellaring, we expect this wine will age gracefully for 15 years or more.
