The Gnarly Head Shiraz is another banger and is seriously raising the standard with Californian Chardonnays.  Juicy with a rich body, full of creamy notes and refreshing acidity, this is a seriously good glass of wine, plush and fulfilling. The spicy American oak notes packed with caramel textures whilst still very fruit forward is what are making American chardonnays red hot in New Zealand and this is one of the best examples yet.
