Umeboshi are pickled ume fruits common in Japan. The word umeboshi is often translated into English as Japanese plums. Ume is a fruit that is called a plum, but is more closely related to the apricot. We have soaked New Zealand grown Ume in a base gin for 6 months to make this wonderful limited release gin.

BOTANICALS: Umeboshi, Juniper, Horopito, Kawakawa, Lemon Peel, Sweet Orange Peel, Coriander, Fennel seed, Angelica root, Liquorice root, Orris root.

NOTES: Perfect for Spring and long Summer nights, this citrus forward gin has luscious lime-like qualities, with a unique and full mouth feel, with a pop of preserved lemon on the finish.
