Abbey Estate is a boutique winery based in the red metal triangle of Bridge Pa in Hawke?s Bay. It was established in 2002 and now consists of 13 hectares of vines on silted red metal soils, growing the main Bordeaux varieties.

This Cabernet dominant blend offers aromas of black current and black cherry which lead to baking spices and peppercorn notes. Smooth cedar flavours and a medium body complete the picture thanks to a whopping 36 months in French oak. This wine beats Bordeaux at its own game.
