Pinot Noir is hard to come by in Beaujolais territory ? but this particular pocket of land is a bit of an insider tip for Pinots with depth and earthy complexity. If you haven?t tried Pinot from this most southerly part of Burgundy you really should give it a go. It?s got plenty of delicious forest fruit flavours along with delicate floral notes and a hint of spice, while the palate has an earthiness that adds depth and interest. Refined and elegant, with lovely smooth tannins.
