The Ch?teau de Chambrun, formerly Ch?teau Moncets exists since 1775 and is now the property of Silvio Denz. Located between Pomerol and Saint-Emilion, all together the vineyards are made up of 53 plots on the appellation Lalande-de-Pomerol. A young and experienced new team has taken over the reins of the ch?teau in 2016.
Chateau Moncets name has been preserved with a new label design yet keeping with traditional vinification.
Shows off a bright deep red colour with purple reflections. Red fruits? aroma dominates the nose subtly spiced with peppermint notes. This vintage is well balanced and smooth in mouth until the final taste: spiced and vanilla flavours last. A very classic Bordeaux style.
