Chateau Branaire-Ducru is locatedon the left bank of Bordeaux, in the south of the Saint Julien appellation. Patrick Maroteaux has owned the property since 1988 and he has invested heavily in new plantings as well as installing a spanking new cuvier and an ultra-modern chai.

Duluc de Branaire Ducru is the second wine of the high-flying 2nd-Growth Château Branaire-Ducru.

54% Cabernet Sauvignon, 44% Merlot, 1% Petit Verdot, 1% Cabernet Franc.

An excellent gateway to the world of Grands Crus Saint-Julien. An appealling nose, aromatic with hints of pepper and blackberry fruits. The palate is supple and offers certain charm, well-built balance and structure and good body. A fresh and approachable feel. Enjoy it now and in the next ten years.

Perfect with beef, duck confit, skirt steak with Shallots, or if you're feeling fancy pork tenderloin stuffed with prunes.
