The wine shows concentrated gooseberry and tropical fruit aromas, complemented by subtle oak and mineral nuances. The palate is full bodied and seamless with a creamy texture derived from extended lees contact. We release our Corners Vineyard Sauvignon Blanc around 18-24 months after it is made (depending on what each season delivers) to allow it to develop and reveal these seasonal characteristics. It tends to age well. It sees some good quality oak, both seasoned and a small portion of new, and the wine speaks gently, reverently of the vineyard site.
