A Bruichladdich single malt Scotch whisky, made with Bere barley, which has a much lower yield than other varieties. For the 2008 vintage Bere Barley Bruichladdich (a phrase which actually rolls off the tongue rather enjoyably). From one island to another, all to make this light, sweet, refined expression.
Nose: Floral honeysuckle and fresh curd tart with plenty of vanilla cream. A touch of oak here and there.
Palate: A light, refreshing mouth feel with brown sugar, vanilla and lemon peels. Very subtle hints of sea breeze.
Finish: Clean, refreshing qualities continue through the finish.
