Nose: Fruitcake with cherries, chocolate covered raisins all soaked in treacle. A subtle note of polish and well worn leather.
Palate : A dense texture, juicy with brandy notes. Seville marmalade and figs. Then comes the slightly savoury notes with burnt ends from a roasting tray.
Finish: Nutty, further polish and oak characters emerge. Then cinammon and golden brown pastry.
