The second limited edition from the "The Glenlivet Original Stories" series is the 12-year-old bottling "Licensed Dram" and pays tribute to the life's work of the whiskey pioneer and Glenlivet founder George Smith tribute, who received the license to distill and from then on has significantly shaped the popular Speyside malt.
This bottling is inspired by this very first single malt whisky in 1823.
Matured in first-fill American and first-fill European Oak-Casks.
Bottled without chillfiltration (as was customary at the time) with an alcohol content of 48%vol.
Nose: soft peach in more enjoyable Symbiosis with warming cinnamon and gingerbread
Taste: golden honey and fine vanilla sauce - perfectly matched with hazelnut and liquorice
Finish: long and slightly sweet finish with lingering notes of spices
