We are excited to announce our next whisky tasting of 2025! John is coming back from our sister company Regionals Wine and Spirits from Wellington for another Whiskey adventure.

In this tasting, we’ll be looking at whisky’s light and dark shades as we pit sherry cask matured whiskies against those from bourbon casks.

These two styles are like chalk and cheese and often divide the room as to preference,  with bourbon offering a more malt-forward style to contrast the cask-prominent sherry style. Join John as he lines up some exemplary offerings, find out what makes them tick and discover which camp you belong to.

The whiskies will be served in a blind order, and we shall taste and dissect them together.

Of course we are excited to have you all along! But with a couple of provisos - This is an R18 event, any cancellations must be made no later than 48hrs in advance.

This is a masterclass style tasting, meaning that booking is essential.
