Troupis have pushed the envelope for Moschofilero since they went from being just growers to making their own wine in their state of the art winery built in 2010. The Ekato is the same grape as the Fteri Moschofilero, but showcasing the pink skin and the results of extended maceration.

“Ekato” in Greek means one hundred. One hundred days is the time that we leave the skins in contact with the must so as to produce the first of its kind “red” wine of the gris variety Moschofilero. Intensively floral,rose pedals and ginger come forward followed by a quince jam flavour. Slightly tannic taste with balanced acidity
