This expression of Bunnahabhain bottled by Signatory Vintage is a classic example of the traditional Sherry cask influenced style from the distillery. We have seen several of the sister casks of this release and they have proven to be some of our most popular from Signatory. The cask has imparted an almost leathery quality to the whisky, with plenty of spice, lashings of dried fruits, dark chocolate, and a hint of roasted sea-salted nuts. Even at over 64% this remains very drinkable, a sign of a well-developed whisky bottled at the right time.
