In 1853 Fr?d?ric Boeckel founded the commercial enterprise.At the end of the 19th century a large part of the wines was already bottled -in advance for that time- and exported. Today Jean-Daniel and Thomas Boeckel, continue to produce high quality wines.

The Pinot Blanc Midelberg is a pure Auxerrois from different limestone plots around the commune and vinified in foudres until summer of this year. The wine shows a clear, pure and aromatic, discreetly flinty bouquet of white seed fruits followed by a round and juicy, finely textured palate and a supple body. The finish is saline, finely tannic and bitter, which makes this an excellent vin ? table.
