Growers' champagnes can offer some of the best value for money because what they lack in marketing budgets, they more than make up for in the quality of their wines. The people who grow the grapes make the wine, which stands in stark contrast to most of the champagnes we know and love. This is a great example of a high quality grower champagne with its full body and powerful yeasty, savoury aromas. 

Champagne Bouby Legouge is in the Vallée de la Marne, which is midway between the more famous Champagne towns of Épernay and Reims. All three of the main champagne grapes are used here, with a relatively high proportion of the least well known - 40% Pinot Meunier with 30% Pinot Noir and 30% Chardonnay.
