The name means something like "rare cask" and refers to the rare Oloroso sherry casks used for storage. Two different American white oak barrels are also used. The result was a single malt with full aromas of blood oranges and raisins. The taste shows ginger, liquorice and cinnamon. Very successful bottling without age statement and with a powerful 48.0% vol. bottled. The Aberlour Casg Annamh is not chill filtered and undyed
