This is a single vineyard wine from Elephant Hill's ?Sea? vineyard in Te Awanga where cooling see breezes help moderate temperatures which retains the fresh acidity in the grapes. 90% Pinot Gris, 10% Viognier, hand-picked, hand-sorted in vineyard and winery. Gently pressed, tank fermented and matured. 4 months on fine lees with occasional stirring to create mid palate texture.
