Cucumber & Elderflower Gimlet

A firm favourite for us ...and surprisingly east to make!
These Cucumber & Elderflower Gimlets are a bright, refreshing gin based cocktail, perfect for late spring and early summer.
Allowing the summer fruits notes in the gin to shine!

60mL ImaGINation X HBWC Summer Cup Gin
30mL St. Germain elderflower liqueur
30mL lime juice
1 Barspoon Sugar
One 2” piece of peeled cucumber quartered lengthwise and cut crosswise into ¼” thick pieces (plus a thinly sliced cucumber round for garnish)

Add the cucumber pieces and sugar to cocktail shaker and muddle (crush the cucumber & sugar to extract more flavour)
Pour in the gin, St. Germain and lime juice.
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice.
Securely fasten the lid, and shake like crazy for about 30 seconds.
Strain the cocktail into a chilled coupe glass and garnish with a slice of cucumber.
