For our newest ‘Back in time’ beer we set out to debunk the myth that ancient Egyptians, like modern YouTubers, are interested in cats. With rosetta stone in hand we discovered owlish hieroglyphs, owls, friends, not cats.

To celebrate ancient egypt’s strigiformesphilia (love of owls) we brewed an ipa as dark as tutankhamun’s pre-plundered tomb, as fruity as a hieroglyph comic strip and enough caramel to satisfy nefertiti’s tooth.
