Northland?s Marlin Alley so mesmerised American writer Zane Grey back in the day he dubbed it ?Angler?s El Dorado? because the sea there teemed with fierce, fighting marlins. We think 6% ABV Marlin Alley IPA echoes the era with late additions of Nectaron and Idaho 7 in tandem with dry-hopped Talus and Nelson Sauvin for a tantalising, nuggety brew. Bright with a lean malt base, a touch of rye and balanced bitterness.
