The Meuliere family began growing grapes in Chablis 1780, and making wine in 1895. They have not stopped since – thank heavens! Using only organic viticulture, and grown on marly limestone containing rich layers of seashells, the Meuliere soils produce the driest and the lightest wines of Chablis. The Petit Chablis is a delightful expression of the essence of Chablis, while their Grand Cru of Vaucoupin reflects the richness and elegance of the most age worthy Chablis.
This French Chardonnay is a dry white wines which is characterised by its complexity, concentration, elegance and minerality. It is very clear in color with delicate apricot notes (a constant aroma on Vaucoupin), lily flowers and flint, and the flavour is salty with good tension and a beautiful fruity finish.
